Pursue master's in EE or get a job?

Hi all,

I want to ask for opinions on the question in my title. My expected graduation date is spring 2012. I do have a subject that I would be interested to study in if I were to attend graduate school, and that is mixed signal integrated circuit analysis. But ultimately I want to work in the industry and not to be in academia.

My new GRE revised score is in the range of 390-490 for verbal and 750-800 for math, my cummulative GPA is 3.12. I don't think I have the ideal profile for graduate school, that's why I'm more leaning toward working. I had a research intern in this past summer with the McNair program, and currently having a part time intern with a local energy consultant company.

With my profile, which of the two option do I have a higher probability of success in? Landing a job or getting into graduate school for a master's degree? If it's the latter, I am curious how much does a master's degree help for an individual in the industry, like salary, job position, etc.

Appreciate any opinions
Thanks

If you are interested in mixed signal ic design, then a masters degree is a must for you.
If you were to obtain a job at this point, it would be in something like validation/test and it would be many years before they actually let you do design work.

Typically, mixed signal ic design jobs require a masters and sometimes even a PhD.
