<p>Basically, one does an amount of pushups that doesn't cause significant neural or muscular fatigue as often as possible. Apparently you don't need to go anywhere near failure to build your nervous system.</p>
<p>krypter, in no way was i trying to be arrogant or cocky myself, but only advising powerhawk in his choice of posting. Obvoiusly Plebe Summer and Plebe Year are designed to overwhelm the students and no one truly has an accurate idea of what to expect.</p>
<p>The first thing that I do when I wake up in the morning is turn on the shower. Then I do 100 pushups and get in the shower (which is hopefully hot by that point - you never know in cold Alaska winters). Try something simple like that to introduce pushups into your routine. Exercising first thing makes me feel a lot more awake and aware during the day, but that may just be me. Find something that works for you and stick with it.</p>
