<p>Please comment on my chances at MIT, CalTech, Stanford, Harvard SCEA, JHU BME, Princeton, Columbia Fu..sorry it is a bit long</p>

SAT I: 690 Verbal, 740 Math, Writing 650 10E …I am retaking this fall, and am very confident of an 800 math, and at least 750+ on writing and verbal (the first time, I took it without any preparation.). </p>

<p>SAT II: MathII: 800, Chemistry: 760
Taking Literature, Physics, and maybe Bio this fall and am certain to get at least 700 on Lit and 750+ on Bio and Physics.</p>

<p>APs: Calculus BC, Chemistry, Government & Politics, Statistics, Microecon, Macroecon, Physics C Mechanics only, Psychology- all 5s</p>

<p>CLASSES -
took calculus 3, differential equations, and linear algebra at my local community college and got A’s in all of them.</p>

<p>Took Organic Chemistry 1 (15 credits lab/discussion/lecture) at my local community college this fall (in addition to a full school day) and got a B.</p>

<p>Anyone? Sorry the title is so misleading by the way.</p>

<p>You have a really good background. Getting into those top schools will depend a lot on your next SAT scores. Maybe you should try the ACT, too. I do think that your SATs will go up- going in with no preparation does not work these days. Nearly everybody prepares. You should have no problem at Columbia Fu, but other than that, don't count on anything- nobody can at that level. Have matches and safeties. The conservative politics/debate interest makes you unique- that may help.</p>

<p>I am scared to emphasize the conservatism, as I am aware that there is an overwhelmingly good chance that my admissions people will be liberal. </p>

<p>Is this fear without merit?</p>

<p>One thing I also forgot to add:
My essay topic is on growing up in a homeless shelter.</p>

<p>All of those schools are major reaches. 740 math at CIT and MIT is unheard of for a non URM. No unusual ECs , Asian, mid atlantic make CSP pretty unlikely. Maybe JHU.</p>
