<p>I'm a transfer student and have been pending review until today: July 24th. Given how late it is I figured I'd get either an outright refusal or acceptance, but instead I've been placed on the waiting list.</p>
<p>Really disappointed and just wondering if anyone has any advice/insight into being waitlisted in late July. On one hand it would seem near impossible to get off a waitlist this late, as everyone should have made a decision on where they're attending, but on the other hand you'd think they'd just refuse you this late in the game if there wasn't much chance of being taken off a waitlist.</p>
<p>Also, anyone know the definitive date at which all waitlisters are told yay or nay? I've heard of people being taken off in early August, but wasn't sure if there was an exact date. </p>
