Putting down 3 years or 4 years...?

For the college apps, they ask how long you've been doing a certain club. Well for example, I've done Japanese club for three years, and now I am elected vice president so I will do it my senior year.

Do I put down "3 years" or "4 years" on the application form?

4
(10 char)

Japanese Club–Grades 9,10,11,12. Vice-President-Grade 12

alright thanks guys!!

If they ask for years, put down the amount of years you’ve done it until then. By the time you apply in your senior year, you’ll have only done it for 3 or 3 1/2 years, so put that down. But it would be useful to list the grades that you’ve done it and then your position this year.

You can’t list 4 years because you haven’t completed 4 years of it yet.

put 4, and list that you’re president or whatever. Don’t listen to juillet, she’s being ridungculous

put down 5 (so you can stand out and have a higher change of getting in)

^LMAOOO. those always crack me up.
