Putting future TA position on a resume?

Hi,

I’m a rising sophomore in college and am a Computer Science major. I’m going to be a TA for a course this fall (starting at the end of this month).
I’ve just started looking at applying for summer internships for next summer and I need to send in a resume for one of these by the middle of next week. Would it be acceptable for me to include the TA position on my resume as long as I make it clear that I wont be starting until the end of the month?
I think that it is pretty relevant and I’m kind of disappointed that I might have to leave it off just because of the 10 days between the application deadline and the start date of the TA job, especially because I’ve only finished one year of college and I don’t have a ton of other experience to put on my resume apart from the internship I had this summer.

Just wondering if it would be a bad idea to include it?

I just applied this summer to full time jobs for when I graduate (May 2018) and I included the course I’m grading for in the fall. I have also done this for internship applications in the past (and got the positions), when the applications were due in October and I already knew what class I would be grading for in the spring.

That is certainly something that should be included. Just list the month you will be starting.
