Putting Native American on applications...

<p>My ethnicity is half Puerto Rican, but within that I have Taino Indian, should I put Native American on my applications? I've heard many schools actually check up on this, the Taino's originated in Puerto Rico, so does that count as Native American? I am approx. 1/8th Taino Indian.</p>

<p>^ I’ve never heard of that! How do I go about getting one? Should I ask my parent’s if they have them…my dad might.</p>
