Putting together a portfolio

I'm in the process of assembling my portfolio and would like some new opinions. My portfolio isn't complete yet, but if you would like to comment on some of the pieces that I already have, that would be very helpful. Post here, and I'll PM you the link :)
thanks

i'd like to look ..PM me...

Hey,
I would like to see, PM me? I don't know what pm is though lol, but i would love to see your portfolio!

^ be sure you tag or have some sort of copyright on your images.

You don't want people stealing your stuff and using it as their own portfolios.

pm me!!!! i am ever so curious...................

clocks,
I would love to see your portfolio also...thanks!

i'd like to see, ive never seen an arch. portfolio before.

Clocks,

May I just say that your portfolio is absolutely brilliant? I would highly recommmend putting some other 'styles' such as black and white paintings. Make SURE that you are choosing different paintings or drawings with different mediums, etc. colors and different objects. The work in your portfolio is perfectly fine but I just recommend adding on to the ones you have. I don't know how many paintings you are going to send in but so far it's absolutely fine.

I've never seen an arch. portfolio before but from word of mouth (my uncles and aunts are architects in Florida) I give you the same advice that I hear them giving all the time. They are volunteer teachers while maintaining their own firm.

Good Luck!

Thanks moviefreak126 for the advice. I'll definately diversify my portfolio a little bit more :)

I'd love to take a gander at your portfolio too!

PM it to me too please!
I'm putting one of my own together-- don't worry i won't steal anything, just curious what others are doing.

very good so far- my faves are 'bubbles' and 'northern lights'
suggestion- for 'ball in the clouds' it looks like the beachball is in water, so if you want the surrealistic effect of a ball in clouds, make the clouds more realistic
also i think you should create a few more observational works- from what I've asked colleges they want to see that you are creative, but still know how to draw from real life

overall nice work, i wish i were as far with my portfolio..

thanks jamaicanmelaugh for the advice!!! :)

if i'm not too late, i would love to see your portfolio too!! i'm completely lost in making one, so I hope you don't mind!

you need more variation.

My fav one was Northern Lights. I'd really encourage you to try different mediums (I think you'd like working with charcoal). So, basically what a couple people have already stated, variation would be nice.

id luv to see ur portfolio....if im not too late

May I please see you portfolio? Which school/s is this portfolio being prepared for?

i'm also intersted in it!send me:-)
are you applying to undergraduate or graduate?

i'm interested too, if its not too late :)
