putting together an art supplement

i searched the forum for helpful threads but couldn't find any.

i'm trying to put together my art supplement for my early action schools so it can be sent tomorrow in order for them to consider it. what exactly should i do? i'm not using the common app art supplement.

i have a CD with 14 photographed pieces of work...
what else do i need to include?

Each school has different requirements. You might need to include a list of images along with cd; image title, media, size and date. A couple of years ago, some schools required slides, labelled and in a sleeve. A CD is so much easier.

Yep, check their website or their art department website (are you applying for an art program, to an art school, and/or as an art major?) for requirements. Some want a certain number of pieces, others want examples of certain media or subjects.

I sent in slides of my best art pieces to each college. About a one page of slides for like 15-16 schools. That alone cost me about $164 dollars. lol

OH MY GOD, Phead
why don't you just post them up on a website and give them the web address? I thnk that's what Commonapp says to do

5- If only all schools had the same requirements---

OP: Be certain to follow each school's requirements. Some will only take slides. Others will accept CDs. Etc.

Often the art department sets the policy, particularly if they will be reviewing your portfolio.

Good Luck!

not anymore it doesn't
