Q about Chemistry and Math placement exams

I need to take the Chemistry placement exam for my major and was wondering where i can find the test because the one on http://www-muir.ucsd.edu/prospective_students/freshman/placement.htm is not working for me.

If I fail/do not do well on this chemistry exam what will happen to my placement of a chemistry class at UCSD?

For the Math test, if i completely bomb it will I have to take a class during summer or will I be placed in a math class that meets my knowledge of math.

I was looking for the Chemistry placement exam as well yesterday and the link didn't work for me either. I read that it says it's just "advisory," but I honestly do not know what effect it will have on placement, if any. Has the deadline to take it past?

The Math placement I believe you can take over in September if you "bomb" it. I plan to review this summer and take it only once in September. Hope that helps.

how do u know what placement tests u need to take?

dude i pwned that test

I was able to take the chem placement exam; i took it a month ago.

don't quote me on this as i'm not sure but i'm fairly certain if u don't do well on the chem exam ull be in chem 4. and for math if u do terrible ull be in the precalc class. i'm just assuming.

I got an 86% on the chem exam and was recommended to begin with chem6H.

So how do you know what placement exam to take? I have not heard from anyone that told me to take any placement tests =(
