Q-Drop

I'm considering using the Q-drop policy for one of my classes. Can someone explain to me what it does and how it will affect me in the future for graduate school.

You get 3 Q drops total for your A&M Career(state of Texas allows 6). 1 hour courses do not count towards your 3 Q drops for your A&M Career - but do count towards the state limit of 6.
Q drops stay on your transcript they do not go away…

So, right now, I’m having some trouble in Chemistry and suppose I go ahead and decide to Q-drop it. But let’s say I pull it altogether and end up passing the course. What will happen then?

If you Q drop - you are out of the course. You get no grade, you are done. It shows on your transcript you attempted Chemistry - but you dropped the course.
