HELLO! I AM A SENIOR PLANNING ON APPLYING TO PRIVATE COLLEGES.
i was wondering what are the things that teachers need to write you a recommendation letter? for example, transcript? or what?

Most students just ask the teacher to write the letter and that is sufficient. They ask the teacher if they should supply anything. Some people will give the teacher a one page summary with some details about them, classes taken, school activities you are involved in… It is not usual to supply your transcripts.

I just got mine written. I gave my teachers/counselor a copy of my transcript and an activities resume. I also filled out a questionnaire for my counselor. Gl!

@brownparent @scarletmoon thank you so much! And i was wondering, for the common app, how do teachers submit the recommendation letter form to the colleges through common app?

You invite them on the common app, then they’ll get an email and be asked to submit it online.
