Q's about Yale's Acceptance Package and more...

1) What exactly do SCEA acceptees receive in the mail? RD acceptees? (are they different)

2) How does Yale communicate with SCEA acceptees from December to April?

2) What does the Eli Account page look like once we log on December 15th? (for each of the 3 different decisions)

This is a Dad of a 2014 scea admit.

 1. almost everything is on line.
 2. A special web site. It is truely amazing, you can get answers to questions from existing students, FA, admin’s, Etc. There is also a facebook type setup.
 3. The accepted page poped up with “2014” and accepted with the bulldog singing in the back ground. I don’t know what the defered nor the rejected site looks like.

We did get something in the mail but I don’t know if it was after he accepted or not. He accepted on-line.

I’m also the parent of a 2014 SCEA student. Just to add to splat11’s response:
A short time after receiving the online acceptance (with the very cool “singing” bulldog), a hard copy letter was sent via snail mail and a folder/poster of the campus. A bit later they also sent a t-shirt that said “Yale 2014”. All of this was received before he accepted the offer.

Salve, hominem sapientiem! lol… er… vale.

thank you so much, splat11 and my2sunz!
