Nooooooo, i wanted to be in the Quad! Single or Double… i signed up really early as well…but now im in a Hill double. Oh well… anyone else get rejected from Quad?

It's pretty much random who gets in and who doesn't, and signing up early doesn't do anything for your chances (rooms are computer-assigned from a pool of all those who signed up before the deadline).

It's not the end of the world. Just be glad you're not in Kings Court like I was freshman year...

whats wrong with kings?

that was my first choice last year...totally loved it and wouldn't change that experience for the world! :)

I did not want Hill and ended up getting it. The only thing I really disliked was the lack of natural light and the cramped living conditions, but other than that it was fine.

What's wrong with kings court? It was my 9th choice (I wanted Ware), but now I'm stuck with it.

Nothing is wrong with King's Court other than it is a little isolated -- it's on the outskirts of campus near Hill and you normally don't see a lot of people walking around outside of it or anything, but you do have your own cafeteria I believe (I haven't eaten there yet) and a Wawa like right outside of the dorm house as well as an array of restaurants on Sansom and Chestnut, located right next to you. The rooms are fairly big, to boot. King's Court has a reputation of being the "asian nerd" dorm from what I hear.

There is a unit in Kings Court where first year Huntsman students live[3rd floor]. The rooms are fairly big.

Trust me, Wawa is worth any pain and suffering

Try the new milkshakes there?

there is nothing wrong w/ kcech. i know more people who thought the quad was way overhyped and didn't like it there than people who hated kcech. english side is generally more social. unless you're on huntsman.
