Qualified for TAG Fall 2012?

So, I've learned about TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) even before I started community college and I started rushing to complete my UC transferable math and english courses before Fall 2011 because UCI requires that.

Classes are tough to get, so I tried the only Calculus class left for my first semester that fit into my schedule. I decided to withdraw with a "W" because I was stubborn enough to stay even though my teacher's teaching style didn't suit me and many others dropped.

So I tried Calculus again during my second semester and currently I'm understanding the material better, but I am still failing with a D due to family business problems as well as the fact that it's been two years since I've taken Pre-Calculus in high school, so I am pretty rusty.

Do you think I can still apply and be accepted for TAG Fall 2011 if I decide to take Pre-Calculus over Summer 2011? It is a UC transferrable math course, correct? I realize that perhaps I wasn't ready for Calculus even though my placement scores said I belonged in that class. I'm am unable to take Calculus again for a third time without approval from the Dean of Counselors so I am waiting on that. I still plan on taking Calculus after Pre-Calculus to show improvement if they allow me to. I just need that UC transferable math class to be accepted for TAG, but I don't think failing Calc and then deciding to take a lower math class will look good on my application.

I have a solid 3.80 GPA, with many As and few Bs but Calculus would probably bring it down a bit. I completed my English UC transferable course and I'll have my 30 units by the end of summer 2010. Thanks for any replies!
