Qualities you admire

Well, it seems we're doing it for other short takes and they've been interesting to read so far, so what did you guys put for qualities you admire? :)

I put: Kindness and passion. If someone lacks kindness, all his other qualities mean little. If he lacks passion, he is not being kind to himself.

How some people can nearly always make people laugh and feel better

The ability to consistently make wise, reasonable decisions

Those are nice choices, Eiffel. I think it’s good when the two are related in some way.

I chose determination and resourcefulness. I wrote little blurbs for each but I can’t remember what they are. :P

Thanks, Redmondo! I’d like to read your blurbs if you ever remember them.

I like yours too, yoda!

ability to smile sincerely and engage in playful banter

Nooo, I should’ve wrote blurbs. :frowning: I just put the 2 qualities down. Oh well, less for them to read.

Audacity and sincerity

Open-mindedness and argumentative precision.

Cheerfulness and eloquence.

Passion and determination? Too serious?

Haha, those are just two qualities I admire, I’m not applying to college this year.

ambition and integrity :)

Something about people having the vision and initiative to pursue their goals or something.

yes, ambition is a good quality in my opinion.

I wrote that I admire people who are intelligent, but don’t feel the need to announce their intelligence to everyone within earshot.

patience and understanding…because I lack them both

Blind belief where it isn’t ignorance but an increasingly uncommon trust.
Inquisitiveness/exacting examination

I think I liked the first one so much because I just watched Mr Smith Goes to Washington. “All the good that ever came into this world came from fools with faith.”

BAMFs: there are few at Yale but are much appreciated

It never fails to impress me to see demonstrated maturity and passion in others.

I had honesty and humor

I wrote about the ability to respect everyone without judgement and the ability to make the best out of not so great situations.

@Bens, The first one you have was the compliment domeinen had gvn me, coincidence
