Quality of classes in business

I know CU is noted for nursing and architecture, but does anyone know if business majors have good opportunities? My daughter is interested in history and business, but said on “rate your professor” type sites, CU wasn’t rated well in that area.
Thanks for any advice.

My son and I attended the open house in November and went to the briefing by a business professor. My son plans to major in business. The professor said that the accounting graduates do very well in job placement, and the graduates in general do well also. There are many internship opportunities. He advised the students to become expert in Microsoft Office and especially Excel, because if interns are, they usually end up with a permanent job. He said that most graduates go into jobs, but four last year went directly into MBA programs (I had asked a question about that.) I have heard that Catholic U is closing down their graduate business program because it was not competitive. But, the undergraduate program sounded good to me. It probably is not as good as programs at schools with highly ranked business departments and graduate programs, but it seems fine for our purposes.

That’s the gist I got. My daughter found after emailing a professor about jobs, CPA credits, etc., they were vague. I think unlike a college like St. Joseph’s in PA, which has accreditation in business/accounting, you might have to be a little more pro-active.
I like what I read about other majors though.
