I was rejected from Mccombs recently so I decided to enroll in Mays School of Business. I have heard several positive comments about Mccombs, especially its accounting and finance program and how it is the #1 business school in Texas and is appreciated and recognized out of state also. I don’t hear much about Mays except that it is significantly lower than Mccombs for business, but it still is valued in Texas and has the huge Aggie network. However, outside of Texas people do not place importance on Mays, especially Investment Banking. I want to make the best of my undergrad degree, and I would like some feedback on how recruiters look at Mays. Thanks!
- Do students at Mays have a chance for Investment Banking or Financial Analyst jobs (do recruiters look at Mays with a positive viewpoint when recruiting)?
2.Is it possible for students with an undergrad at Mays to enter into an MBA program at UT Austin or other top-level or respected MBA programs?
