<p>Hey, i have 3 sparknotes books (chem, physics, and us history). I read thru them for a few minutes and they seem to be laid out pretty well. But i've heard many anti-sparknotes messages on this forum. How is the quality of the books for review and very minimal self study.</p>

<p>i never took any SAT II science tests....so I woudln't know....</p>
<p>they help me in class- my friend has the chem 1 and i borrow it all the time. its a lot better than my textbook!</p>

<p>When in doubt, try it out! Borrow one from the Library and see if you like it. Or check out their website.</p>
<p>sparknotes also has the absolute best flashcards and study charts
omg esp. their english vocab flashcards are to die for with 1000 cards, u will definately be prepared to get a 700+ on the verbal for the SAT</p>
<p>Practice tests for SAT II Chemistry and Physics were not very accurate.</p>
