i find it a bit odd to estimate scores using the blue book and averaging the range. not so much for math but especially for writing. what would you guys recommend.

what score would this be?

CR -4, omit 0
M -2, omit 1
W -2, omit 0,
Essay - 12

according to the averages on test 3 on the blue book, it would be a CR 740 M 740 W 780 (for a 2260 total). is that accurate?

CR -4, omit 0
M -2, omit 1
W -2, omit 0,
Essay - 12

In most cases:
CR = 760
Math = 740
WR = 800

BB is generally tough on math and easy on CR. There’s no way to enumerate that, but just keep in mind that even though you’re at 760 CR you still need to work at it.

@lolcats4: according to every QAS curve i’ve seen, -2 writing + 12 essay is either a 790 or 800 (about 50/50 on each)

@Godfather: alright, i understand i have to improve on CR. i’m still working on it using the Barrons Verbal Workbook and detailed review of every CR question on the Blue Book (correct OR wrong). 760 is actually the upper end of what i might get. or rather by the method of taking QAS and averaging and rounding down, it’s more like 750 but generally i’m in the lower-ish end of 700 (710-ish i guess). So i’ll need to work on that. Math, very often I don’t allow myself full time and I just skip ahead without checking so i suppose that will change on the real test. the one omit was absolutely stupid, i decided to come back to it, and forgot about it and skipped ahead to the next section. so i’ll be more careful with math and the 800 shouldn’t be a problem. writing, i’ve to get rid of the one or two mistakes that i keep getting for various reasons (i shall not use the word careless as an excuse).

DO ALL OF YOU SUPPOSE A 2300+ SCORE IS WELL IN SIGHT FOR ME ON THE DECEMBER IF I DO LIKEWISE AND REVIEW EVERY SINGLE QUESTION IN THE BLUE BOOK IN DETAIL?
