Quantitative Comparisons, who remembers what?

<p>The $x question basically said Edward worked for 5 hours for some given rate while his friend worked for 4 hours and got the same total pay at $x per hour. Obviously her wage is higher if she can earn the same amount in a shorter period of time.</p>

<p>As for the j/k question, I am pretty sure it was B. It basically compared a ratio with a larger denominator vs. a ratio with a smaller denominator</p>

<p>yes, but if u plug in 0 into both equations, u get 0. therefore, unless it said j and k > 2, which i'm pretty sure it did, then the answer is D.</p>

<p>What? Explain that again... it said both j and k had to be greater than 2, meaning that it couldn't be 0.</p>
