Hi, My daughter wants to pursue Quantitative Economics at Urbana Champaign. This is relatively a new program being offered and hence wanted to check

  1. Prospects for internships and jobs
  2. What kind of job profiles would this lead to?
  3. How do we integrate Data Science/Machine Learning into the program coursework so as to prepare for future job economy? This is important given focus of Data Science and Econmetrics seems to be different even if techniques are similar
