I am applying to a selective liberal arts school and lately my senior year grades have been slipping because of a lot of extracurriculars and a rigorous course load. I know that my first quarter grades are going to be much lower than my grades have been in the past, and I was wondering how much this hinders my chances of acceptance early decision? Do colleges usually ask for quarter one grades from early decision applicants?
