If anyone has gotten a request from admissions for their quarter grades/progress report, please let us know!
because the requests usually happen around a week before decisions are released!
Here’s a single data point from two years ago. My D’s GC got a request for a progress report on 12/9 and ED1 results came out on 12/12 (which was a Friday).

My counselor just told me she got a request for my grades. Yikes I’m really freaking out now.
My counsellor told me too just now! My first term grade is bad I am tearing up now. If only I stressed less and focused more on school this term! :((
my counselor hasn’t said anything to me today… but I don’t necessarily want to ask cause I don’t really know what answer I’m hoping for??? I AM FULL OF ANXIETY
anyone know what time decisions are usually released if they are released this Friday??? also please specify the time zone

@goingsomewhereeh @dbear33 did Pomona add to your application portal their request for Q1 grades? so basically, under all the other requirements, is there another one that is anything along the lines of “progress report” or “first quarter grades”?
@brookemitchell Same with my counselor. She hasn’t said anything, which doesn’t mean yes or no because I doubt she’d seek me out and tell me either way, but I don’t really want to ask because 1) it won’t make a difference and I’ll probably know tomorrow anyway and 2) I don’t know what I actually want to hear.

@brookemitchell No, I had heard about it showing up on your portal so I checked immediately after she told me, (she didn’t send them until after telling me), and nothing had changed. Good luck!!! Hopefully we all receive some good news tomorrow!!!
@brookemitchell Me neither nothing has changed on my portal. I honestly don’t think they will take me after seeing my quarter grades so don’t be nervous if you haven’t been requested of anything yet.
Also I TOTALLY FEEL YOU!! Every one of us is so anxious and whatever happens happens you all are amazing candidates!

I’m too anxious to go ask my counselor so I think I’ll just wait without knowing instead hahaha good luck to you both! and stay positive! the admissions process is weird and very unpredictable. the only thing we can do right now is CROSS OUR FINGERS AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.

guys I never got a request from Pomona for my first quarter grades and for some reason, that’s making me very very nervous… like I’m starting to really lose hope :(((( does anyone know for sure (like 100% positive) that in the past, there have been applicants accepted with no request for Q1 grades? thanks
@indiahyland yes!! Absolutely sure! Just take a look at last year’s threads. Don’t lose faith, whatever happens it’s out of our hands now. Good luck to everyone!! Hopefully it’ll be good news on our portals in less than 24 hrs!!!
