My son (sophomore) applied to couple of programs for summer 2020 - Quarterzero / Catapult Incubator, and Wharton LBW. He just got accepted to the Q0 Incubator but he is not sure how it stacks up to Wharton LBW. Any thoughts from others who have done Q0 recently or those that were accepted to both and selected one over another ?
I applied to the Catapult Incubator program last year as a freshman, and I believe it was one of the greatest things I’ve done. If you’re interested to have a hands-on experience, Q0 is definitely worth it. I’ve realized that they changed the curriculum a bit, but the idea of starting your very own venture while traveling the country can’t get better.
Even as an alumnus of Catapult Incubator, I would be forced to admit that LBW far surpasses Q0 in terms of prestige. With regard to experience, Q0 is in its own class. As Clover mentioned, Q0 affords you the opportunity to live the lifestyle of an entrepreneur stepping into the world of start-ups. At the end of the program, you’ll understand what it means to start a company, and you’ll have created friendships and relationships with like-minded peers that will last for years to come.
For college apps - go to LBW. For a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience - go to Catapult.
BTW I was accepted into LBW the year after I attended Catapult. So I don’t think I’m too biased towards Q0. ?
