Query about Scholarships

<p>I recieved the Old Gold scholarship and was told they would notify the Presidential winners in March.... I thought I read March 6th somewhere. That day's come and gone and my mailbox is empty, so I'm assuming I didn't win it.... but don't they send out emails to the losers, like, "Sorry, you didn't recieve this $$, nice try but no cigar"? Or have they just not picked the winners yet?</p>

<p>:( I'm actually kind of sad about this. Not even that I didn't get the money -- just that I haven't recieved any notification at ALL. Idk. It just seems like good manners. All my other schools notify me by email when I fail at life and lose scholarships, lol. (It happens more frequently than I'd care to admit :) that's why I expected one from UI, too.)</p>

<p>Any news? Have they picked the winners yet? Are we expected to live in suspenseful oblivion forever? Or am I just overreacting?</p>

<p>It says on the website that they will be announced March 11th, so you still have a chance.</p>

<p>Maybe that was last years date and you looked at it before they updated it.</p>
