I was placed into 640:CMA Math 011/111 Precalculus Part I after taking the placement test. Is this bad? Im a premed at SEBS and plan to major in biotechnology. Does my math placement affect what chemistry classes or anything I can take my first year?

I’m going to be a freshman this fall semester so I may not be as well informed as others but it just means that that is the highest class that you can take at Rutgers unless you have AP credit in either Calculus AB or BC. If you took an AP exam in either of those two classes, then you basically send this credit to RU when your scores come out in July. If you get a four or five, then you can skip that particular class and go a higher level math class. If you go on Sakai, I believe there is a list of pre-requisites that you can look through depending on what course you want to take. I hope this helps!
