Questbridge is about income range, but if you explained your situation and your income wasn't really high then you still could have been considered. Also, how did you decide which SAT IIs to take, are those your best subjects?

i guess it's too late to apply....
well....i decide to take SAT 2 based on what class i took. for example, i'm taking AP US History this year, so i take SAT 2 US History, and same thing for physics.

Thanks. Then I'll prolly take US, Math 2, and Eng. Lit. But not Physics even though I'm not bad at it.

ah take physics nate, i hear it is not that bad, like if you take the AP's then you have no worries on the subject test.

yeah, since APs and SAT 2 are almost similar.

darn. I'll write them an email tonight or tomorrow I guess =/

also. natethegreat sign up for your satIIs soon!!!

bump.

i found out i was nominated for their individualized college admissions counseling award, their all-expense-paid campus visits, and their Tele-mentoring with college students. And i was invited to the yale conference. you have to check the account you made through questbridge. anyone else?

fyi, they emailed me at 7:25 pm central. it basically told me to log into their website and see. are there more ppl who applied?

yea i received my email around 8, and it told me to log in and check. I was nominated for the all expense paid campus visits and I was invited to the yale conference. cool. mayb ill see u there lol.

i already told them i couldn't attend it due to SSP =/

hey, Xi=ix, how do you know you were nominated for the counseling award?

I was one of the 80 people considered for the award, but did not receive news on it today (so i assume i didn't make it). Is the counseling award separate?

i didnt get anything. looking back, my essays were rather bland; i could of made them a lot better. i thought i'd at least get a college visit or something though. i dont know what i plan to do about visiting colleges now.

I almost gave up on Questbridge, because I thought I wouldn't qualify for anything. Turns out I've been invited to the Stanford conference and nominated for the Amherst telementor thing and the college visit.

....Which I guess is great, but their information on the college visits are really ambiguous. I wish I can find out sooner so I can plan other college visits around it, if it works out. I mean, even if no colleges offer me any visits, I'm going to figure out a way to get myself there somehow, you know? I just don't want an email in the middle of August telling me that I'm getting offered a free trip to across the country when I've just gotten back from the same place or something.

hmmmmmm
