I don’t see it.

look at the comments for this post:

We are hard at work this week reading all of your College Prep Scholarship applications. We hope you all had a wonderful Easter / Passover weekend!

“we received about 5,300 applications this year!”

Well, I received the results of my application already. Has anyone else?

I was invited to the QuestBridge College Admissions Conference at Northwestern University and nominated for for an all-expense-paid campus visit to one or more of their partner colleges.

Also, at the bottom is stated this, “Please note that College Prep Scholars selected for a scholarship to a college summer program will be contacted separately by mid-May.”
Does this mean that if you were chosen for a summer program you wouldn’t have received that email? Or would you have received this one and another one in May?

rejected… :-/

Invited to the conference at Princeton and nominated for one or more campus visits.

Ds nominated for a campus visit! Waitlisted for the conference, but he probably won’t do it. His brother was invited to the Stanford conference, and it was just too cost-prohibitive.

How do they choose which College Admissions Conference to allow you to attend? I marked down both Princeton and Northwestern as options and they gave me Northwestern. Did it have something to do with stats and stuff or was it random?

I’m going to guess it’s random, based on how many wanted to go where. It says ds is WL’d for all three, but I don’t think he applied to all three, so I think it will depend on who declines the offer where there will be room.

Hey guys,

I have a question. Lets say I am taking my Sats in October. The college match is due on September 30. So can I still update my SAT score?

Contrary to what I have believed, they say that summer program scholarships are not announced until mid-May…
What about Award of Excellence? When are they going to announce those? It’s not specified in the email.

custard, answer is here: [Standardized Testing](http://www.questbridge.org/for-students/ncm-standardized-testing)

@ Custard, isn’t there any way you could take them sooner? (I’m taking one on June 2) I just feel that you’d be putting yourself at a disadvantage by not providing the scores.

Also, based on this- http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/questbridge-programs/1325140-college-prep-scholarships.html I think those who were nominated for summer programs were already notified and the mid may deadline is just for confirmation.

I didn’t get accepted, but congratulations to those of you who did! I hope you enjoy your summer!(:

My son got the Princeton University conference and nominated for an all-expense-paid campus visit to one or more of their partner colleges. His also said they would notify about the summer programs by mid-May. Very surprised he got in as he is not a minority or first generation.

My friend got the Northwestern U visit!! yay

Yay I got into the Princeton conference too and the expense paid nomination as well?;D who else who else?:p

Hello everyone! I am now 2012 College Prep Scholar. However, I have one question. Is it possible for one to receive a scholarship but not be able to get into a summer program he or she applied to? It is written, “Please not that College Prep Scholars selected for a scholarship to college to a college summer program will be contacted separately by mid-May.” Questbridge will contact me later in mid-May of summer programs. But again, is one able to receive a scholarship but not get into a summer program?

@ErinPark123- Yes. everyone who receives some sort of award is a questbridge prep scholar.
