I'm filling out the personal information section right now. However, even after filling out all the required fields and saving, it still says "section in progress."

Do I have to fill out all blanks (including non required ones) for the app to read "complete?" Is this something I should be worried about? I don't want to submit an app that is marked as in progress, even though I filled everything out.

I think it says “section in progress” if you haven’t submitted that section yet. After you submit it, it should say “completed.”

Muffinish, go back over that section. I remember that happening to my D, and it took us forever to find one little wrong thing.

^Haha :), muffinish is a QB alumni who’s trying to help me. I did go over the section, but I can’t find anything missing from the required fields. Admittedly, I did leave several unrequired fields blank. I don’t think that should be a problem though…?

Do any of those fields require a “0”

Nope. Is the personal information section taken as a whole section?

The individual sections (personal info, academic interests/career, EC information…) all say in progress even after I fill them out.

If I remember correctly, there was a tiny, I mean tiny little grey area asking about parental something or another that we kept missing. Go through one more time, make sure there is nothing that you have left blank that might require a “N/A.” If you can’t find anything, go ahead and submit. If it is something that is imperative, I’m sure QB will e-mail you to ask.

I’ve noticed another problem. Even though I save after every time, after I log out and back in, one of the lines is empty.

It’s the “Please Specify” line for career interests. All the other information stays filled out, but the sentence I wrote there disappears. This is pretty frustrating.

Since you are interested, yet uncertain about your career goals, could you mark medical since you are interested in research?

Rarely is anything worthwhile easy! :)

^I marked scientist. I think that was the closest to medical research.

Do you have any idea about my problem above?

^I had similar problems last year. I would fill out a section and some of it would disappear… But it wasn’t the career interests section. I’m really sorry but I can’t remember how I solved that problem QB seriously needs to stabilize its system!

^ahh, good to know it isn’t my computer being weird somehow :)
