@Samantha3 awesome! I’ve been waiting from the beginning of this month to hear back from them, but it it turns out acceptances aren’t sent out until early next month.
Oh and also, did you apply to any of the Quest for Excellence awards?
I’ve heard both late May and April. Last year decisions were emailed late April… so hoping for that!
I saw your post on the 2015 MITES thread, and I too applied to the Questbridge College Prep Scholarship. My main motivation to apply was to increase my chances at receiving the National Match Scholarship next year, as a senior classmate who received it stated that the Junior-year one would increase the chances. Last year the decisions were sent out late April, I am also hoping for that!
No I didn’t apply for the Quest for Excellence awards. I wasn’t really aware of them bc I had so many other things going on 
The wait is the worst part! lol but this program honestly sounds amazing. I would love to be able to do one of the fly-in programs or one of the summer programs.
Hey all, I applied for the College Prep Scholarship as well! I don’t expect to be matched next year if I’m chosen as a finalist since my EFC isn’t 0 but I still definitely wanna be a finalist. On my qb application profile, it says that my app was submitted, and everything was recieved. But I never got an email from qb saying “congratulations, you have completed the application”… should I be concerned???
i didn’t even know about this email until I saw a pic my friend took of her’s… this is bad isn’t it :((

Hey everyone, I’m new to this thread but I’ve been watching it for a while. 
I received some exciting news today though! A questbridge rep contacted me today and told me that I am nominated for a full scholarship to Yale YGS, which happens to be my top choice summer program! I’m speechless and I really wasn’t expecting to hear back from them so soon. I’m really still in shock!
@hilobanana that’s amazing! I didn’t even know they told people about their status before the date on their website, much less personally contact them. Why do you think this is? Was your application very exceptional? Don’t worry about bragging, I’m really curious, I want to know lol
@Iamquiteloud I know, I was quite surprised! Honestly, I have no idea if I’m an exceptional candidate… In fact, I bet there are tons of applicants who have better stats than me. I think I got nominated because, as cliché as it may seem, I really let my interests and passions shine through in my application. Much of my application was centered around my interest in foreign affairs, which is kinda the whole focus of YGS haha. Still, in no way did I expect to hear back so quickly or even get nominated at all!
@hilobanana so does this mean you automatically were chosen as a Questbridge college prep scholar?
@Iamquiteloud I’m not exactly sure, but I’m assuming that they wouldn’t nominate me if I wasn’t going to be a college prep scholar, haha I’m still getting more information about this whole situation, so I’m not sure of all the details.
Decisions last year came in on April 22, 2014. Not much longer.
