@drbio No problem dude, also if you are looking for a way to raise your score I recommend the Gruber’s complete sat guide 2014. It’s the one I am studying from, going to take my test in June.
@Inertmuse Yeah they took it down, that sucks sorry. Hey at lest if you’re apply for the senior application you can put it on there.

@inertmuse no haha, I mean can you tell me what resources or techniques you used to achieve a score of a 35 on the ACT? haha thats my dream score!

@drbio101 My inability to read comments correctly led me to tag wrong people with wrong info, but I edited my previous comment with information!

@drbio101 For encouragement I went from Dec SAT 1940 to Jan SAT 2140 to March SAT 2170 to April ACT 35
That’s a 400 point increase Anything is possible when you practice!

@inertmuse thats great! Did you just use the red act book for practice tests, or you used other resources as well?

@drbio101 Did you see my previous comment with all the information? I didn’t use the red act book, just used online practice tests

@drbio101 & @Inertmuse Guys do me a favor and tell me how this looks.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/post/editdiscussion/0/291194

@inertmuse yeah it wasn’t there until now. Thanks! My main issue now is time in math and science. I guess going straight to the questions without reading first will help a lot. For math I guess I need to do more practice tests to speed up.

What calculator did you guys use? TI 83 or the 84? Do either of them have the “solve” function thats similar to “F2 Solve” on the TI 89?

@migoto i dont have permission

@drbio101 you cannot use either of those on the act. You can only use non programmable calculators without a solve function.

Wait nevermind, you cant use the 89 but you can use 84. Both 83 and 84 have solve but youvl really dont need it. I got a 36 on M using only a simple arithmetic calculator.

Guys I made this so that when they release the results we can post if we got it or not. Please fill this out even if you did not get it, to help rising juniors. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/questbridge-programs/1642828-official-2014-questbridge-college-prep-scholarship-results.html?new=1

I used Ti-84
Honestly you could solve anything with a 4 function calculator bought at the dollar store.

@Migoto I would add a section to clarify what award you have won

@Inertmuse there is one. xD

Does anybody think results will come in today?

@drbio101 I hope XD Let’s cross our fingers. The suspense is destroying meeee XD Hard to focus in school just thinking about it (: Hope for the best~!

@drbio101 God I hope so but then I don’t want it to. I have a national test today and if I get the e-mail before and don’t get it I won’t be to focused on the test. Best of luck everyone!

so while we wait forever, what programs/awards/conferences did you guys pick that you want?

@drbio101 Aughghghghgh @@ By the time I was done with the application, I didn’t really even know what I chose…hm…I should go check…I did the Quest for Excellence thingy…and omg I only picked one conference =_= The Pennsylvania one…I really should’ve applied for more -facepalm-
