Mine just says “We are still determining recipients of scholarships to college summer programs, and only a small number of students will be selected to receive this award. If you are among those selected, you will be contacted separately by mid-May.” Anyone else have the same thing?</p>
<p>@daesung I have a similar message. In this thread there are reports of being flat-out told that they have not won any summer programs, so I guess there’s still a glimmer of hope for those with that message. A slimmer glimmer for those who were not called for notification of nomination (like myself). May the odds be ever in your favor~

I got into the Stanford Conference and the campus visit nomination, too!
I’m a little worried about paying for the trip since I live all the way in Texas and don’t have a passport, but I’ll hopefully figure it out somehow. The only thing that can’t be helped is that my last day of school is the Friday before the conference, I’ll probably just leave early…</p>
<p>By the way, when do we know the results for the Quest for Excellence Awards? The FAQ section of the QuestBridge website said January, but I was thinking that might be for their Senior QB scholarship and not their Junior one.</p>

<p>Newbie here, anyways i got accepted too! I got nominated to the all paid campus visit, waitlisted for college admission conference and also @CUDA2015 i got the telementoring for amherst college and i have the same message as what you got regarding the summer program!

<p>Wow @Jetpie we got the same exact thing! I emailed them about the Quest for Excellence but they didn’t rspond. I think @chaoticpuppy has the right answer though. </p>
<p>Got in! Telementoring at Amherst, national conference at stanford, and all expense paid campus vist (to be notified directly by the colleges in summer/fall)!
Summer program acceptances will be released mid-may…can’t wait!</p>

There is an option to apply for a travel grant when you click the rsvp button for the conference! You can apply as long as you live more than 200 miles away from the campus, which obviously you do. They will reply to your request by May 7.</p>

Wow, I live in Texas (Houston) too!! I just applied for a travel grant from Questbridge; you should try that too. And my last day of school is in June, but I’ll probably be missing May 30 so I can get to California earlier. </p>
<p>I got the national conference at Stanford and the nomination for the all-expense paid college visit! Fingers crossed x100000 for the summer program! It says I’ll be notified by mid-May.
Not sure if I’m going to go to the conference though…I know they offer a limited number of grants but it’s still a lot of money to drive/fly out 
for those applying for the travel grant, how much money are you requesting? Should I just request $500 and see how much they’ll give me? Haha</p>

<p>Oh @GlitterQueen , they said you have a better chance of getting a travel grant if you only ask for what you absolutely need. For example, I’m probably going to ask for $200 which I have a better chance of getting than If I ask for the $500.</p>
