*****RANKED COLLEGES TO CHANCE ME FOR:*****

1 Stanford
2 USC
3 Princeton
4 Yale
5 Brown
6 Northwestern
7 Tufts
8 University of Virginia

Unless your score reaches over 2100, I would consider Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Brown, Northwestern reaches.

Thanks and I agree texaspg! I am only applying to those because I want to maximize my chances by choosing 8 colleges to apply to considering any other of the total 35 questbridge ones don’t have my major…

My dream college is USC hence the username and ranking so high compared to the Ivys :D

Btw, some of those require 2 SAT II scores. I hope you are taking care of those tests.

Yeah I have to 2 SAT Subject scores but they aren’t great…

US History: 640
Math II: 600

I want to retake Math II and take a Physics Subject Test as well in November but I think that’s too late for most… especially Tufts :(

Bumpppppp…

Anyone else?

Where are you located?

I am located in Florida…

Solid ECs, and very good hooks, but try aiming for 2100+, especially for this list of schools.

1 Stanford- reach
2 USC- match
3 Princeton-reach
4 Yale-low reach
5 Brown- low reach
6 Northwestern- high match
7 Tufts- not sure
8 University of Virginia- high match

Wow I am actually surprised that Yale is a low reach instead of a full on reach. Why is that?

get a 2100 and you’re basically guaranteed admittance into all of these… just cause you’re a poor black female who’s also smart (totally unfair)

Haha I’m not going to comment whether it is fair or not. (Or if my chances being increased is even true, but I guess I’ll see about that when I am accepted or denied) But thanks for the replying! Also I don’t think anyone is ever “guaranteed” admission to an Ivy…

Isn’t UMiami in the Questbridge program?

Wow, that’s incredibly rude, and false; how is being a minority on welfare and being homeless on and off any way “fairer” than being a white middle-class homeowner?

No, UMiami is unfortunately not in the Questbridge program. It may have once been but it’s definitely not now.

[Partner Colleges](QuestBridge)

NO Weighted because my school doesn’t do that.

ACT: 25, HOWEVER, I barfed during the science so I got a not so hot score. Previously I got 29 English, 29 Reading, but I skipped 20 questions on the math and got a not so hot score. I believe I can get all 30s if I study some more and not barf and skip stuff.

ANYWAY, I am happy to find another African American Female engineering major.!!! Join our QuestBridge group on facebook, it is call 2013-2014 QuestBridge Support Group. You have to be accepted by the officers. :)

Okay will do! If you could send a link that would be even better!

And WOW nationally recognized by Obama… how???

I did a lot of work to create a scholarship program for my state, which involved the letter from the governor to pay for mine. One thing.I found out about the QB app is that it is hard to list achievements which is something I need and you have to pick your best activities, top six. Also I will get the link when on my laptop.

Question, do you think I have a chance at being a QuestBridge Finalist???

Yeah you definitely have a chance considering they accept about 50%!! The hard thing is getting matched…
