Sorry OP but I am going to use your thread to rant about something. Satman, you underhanded comment about how it is unfair that the OP gets an affirmative action boost shows how elitist and out of touch you are. She was homeless for crying out loud, her family’s combined income was under $10000 and she changed high schools 4 times. A 1900 is an very good SAT score for her even for the ivies. I hate the terrible elitism on CC. Mostly everyone on CC is some upper class Northeast kid with prep school educations and Ivy league educated parents or a kid in a magnet school somewhere in Silicon Valley with wealthy professional immigrant parents. These kids are born with a silver spoon inside their mouth. When they are rejected to top colleges with their 2250 SAT scores, generic ECs and two dimensional personalities; they blame URMs and poor people with low SAT scores for taking the spots that “were so rightfully theirs”. This makes me sick and I start hating this website. They need to realize that there are people out there that have done so much more than they have even though they don’t have the scores or laundry list of ECs to prove it. Sorry for the rant OP but I think you are bound for success in whatever you do :).
