<pre><code>Why you think you were not matched and general comments: I had no hope for the match lol. At the time, I had never taken an SAT or ACT, so it was the only school I ranked and my stats are definitely not up to par for Bowdoin.

<p>EFC = 0
There are many QB finalists with EFC=0 who are accepted by and given full financial aid their freshman year at their first choice school. However, they must apply for FA every year.
I suspect the students who match are assessed by the school as having little to no chance that their EFC will rise above 0 during their expected four years in college.
Look at the school’s Common Data Set (usually in Institutional Research) to see stats on recent freshman classes. If the school isn’t going to accept you, you have zero chance of matching for a full 4 year package.</p>
