<p>Well fellow finalists, the days are coming to a close very rapidly. We are soon approaching Thursday and I have a quick question for anyone out there. I know that only around 14% will get chosen on Thursday, so I was wondering what you think my odds are at getting in to one of my colleges. Ranging from Yale to UNC.( and 6 others obviously) I have a 32 ACT with perfect 36 science, 4.6 gpa, 9 aps, VP of NHS, 2 Varsity sports, class rank 7 of 400 and a household income of $15000. Opinions? Oh and good luck to everyone! Hoping for the best!</p>
<p>^ It’s so hard to say, truly. I sort of think that matching is random. What I do think though is that finalists are chosen to some degree based on knowing that partner schools are looking for that student… however QB doesn’t advise the finalist to apply to that school :-). So I think everyone has a hypothetical match, but they may not end up applying to that school, so they don’t get matched. </p>

<p>Evidently the rumours of stroke-of-midnight results emails are either just that…or the fact that I’ve not yet received one is indicative of something.</p>

<p>carlos, my heart breaks for you. i too am waiting with a friend. be a good brother and tell him that it is not personal, he WILL find a school that fits him. but just hug him hard like a good brother does and tell him how much you love him.</p>
