Questbridge Process HELP!

If I received an ACT score online, but not by official copy, can I still apply it to my questbridge application? I have SAT from before but I did better on my ACT. The application process requires official transcripts and scores...I took the test 9/10 and got my scores 9/26...and application deadline is 9/30...what should I do? I still didnt get my essay score also...

And when I rank colleges (top 8) will the colleges see what I ranked them? I am afraid if I rank a college at 8th..then they'll think I am not interested in it as much as the other schools. Thank you!

@isaac, you can put the scores on your application and fax QuestBridge a printout of the page. The Colleges you apply to will want a score report, however.

The schools will not know how you ranked them.

would it be official if I simply printout the page though? I just don’t think its authentic then. And schools really don’t see your rankings?

From QB [FAQ

“To submit your scores to QuestBridge, you should ask your high school counseling office to fax your score reports using the “Transcript & Test Scores” fax cover sheet available on your “My Locker” page. You may either fax us copies of the score reports you receive in the mail or print-outs from the testing organization website with your scores on it. Please do not send us your official score reports directly from the testing organization.”

From Application Process: The National College Match](QuestBridge)

"More about the “match” process. QuestBridge sends the finalist applications to our partner colleges for their review. Partner colleges ultimately make the final selection of scholarship recipients from among the finalists. Partner colleges select the students they would like to admit with College Match scholarships, and QuestBridge then matches those selected students with the highest-ranked college on their list that has also admitted them. "

The Colleges review the applications and choose the students they will accept and QB does the matching to the list. This process was also explained at the College Prep Seminar.

And not to be snarky, but feel free to do your own research on the QB site instead of asking a question and then requiring proof of the answer.

You’re welcome.

wait that doesnt answer my question though…can i use the ACT score then?

Yes, her great reply DID already answer your question.

“You may either fax us copies of the score reports you receive in the mail or print-outs from the testing organization website with your scores on it”

Did you notice her quote (above) from the Questbridge site saying how you could PRINT OUT YOUR TEST SCORE FROM THE ACT WEB SITE??? Sign into the ACT web site, pull up your scores, print screen, fax the info with the required QB fax cover sheet.

If you receive online access to your ACT score by the 9/30 Questbridge deadline, of course you can print out confirmation of your score and use it.

oh sorry didnt see that thank you!
