Questbridge question...

My son is applying to the Questbridge Scholarship prep / National College Match program. His intention is to major in physics and finding the best science program possible is very important to him. There are 27 partner colleges involved in the Questbridge program, and I wonder if any of you could make recommendations for the best schools to focus on, given his desire to attend the school with the best science program? Here is a list of the partner colleges. Thanks!

Amherst College
Bowdoin College
Brown University
Caltech
University of Chicago
Columbia University
Emory University
Haverford College
MIT
Northwestern University
University of Notre Dame
Oberlin College
Parsons The New School for Design
University of Pennsylvania
Pomona College
Princeton University
Rice University
Scripps College
Stanford University
Swarthmore College
Trinity College
Vassar College
Washington and Lee University
Wellesley College
Wesleyan University
Williams College
Yale University

MIT
Caltech
Stanford
Princeton
UChicago
Yale

IMHO, I believe in LACs for the best undergraduate experience, therefore my recommendations would be:

Bowdoin College
Haverford College
Pomona College
Swarthmore College
Wesleyan University
Williams College

Bowdoin? I would be more inclined with Haverford, Swarthmore, Wesleyan, Williams as the best physics LACs.
Bowdoin and Amherst have much more emphasis on humanities.
I also applied to QB but I didnt get matched. I got into Haverford with a full ride though during RD of 2014. If your child doesn’t get matched–the process is super super competetive–he should apply to Carleton College and Harvey Mudd. The latter is particularly strong in physics. Other than these two, of course the big names will be Caltech and MIT, as well as Stanford and Cornell.
