<p>I am a Questbridge finalist. Honestly, I was very surprised as I felt my essays were rushed and very weak.</p>

<p>So anyways, I am not happy with my essays and am debating rather to forward my QB application or only send the Common Application. I would list myself as "QuestBridge Finalist" in the Common App. I fear that sending the QB application will actually hurt my chances because of the essays.</p>

<p>tl;dr : My QB essays are bad and I think they will hurt my chances. Should I forward the QB app?</p>

<p>The QB app helps confirm that you’re really a finalist. QB felt your essays were good enough to rank you as a finalist so maybe you’re being too self-critical. Many of the QB partner colleges want you to do the CommApp PLUS their own school’s supplemental essays and short answers so they will definitely have other stuff of yours to read. Also, you can add some more of your writing in that ‘anything else?’ section on the CommApp.</p>
