you should asks the schools, I think if you couldn’ have paid for the applications, you should have asked for a fee waiver

…also weren’t the forms due today?

you should asks the schools, I think if you couldn’ have paid for the applications, you should have asked for a fee waiver

…also weren’t the forms due today?

So for a fee waiver, do I e-mail the school, explaining my situation, and then they’ll give me some codes?

Mr. Tubbz, you can delete Yale and then re-add it. It’s regular decision by default.

omg…i still haven’t turned in columbia’s application.. i ell asleep. lol

HOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLA

I just turned in my Columbia Application

WOOOOOHOOOO DONE WIT THESE APPS!!!

Now to go on to regular decision… :)

I’d like to know an answer to lehaiy’s question too.

Yay I submitted Yale! One more essay for Stanford and I am done!

ON TO SAT 2 MATH IIC STUDYING! YAY!

o snap!!!

whew…that was stressful

Good job, everyone…Give yourself a pat in the back~clap clap clap

oh, btw, i couldn’t find the “few waiver” section in the common application

…I hope that won’t cause any problem…it says in the college requirements

that if we put a checkmark in the fee waiver box, the fees will automatically

be waived for us..ButBut there wasn’t any box to put a checkmark!!!Oh well..

Is this the same case for everyone else too?

You have to go to menu thing on the left side of the screen and select that one that says submit payment. You can choose the fee waiver option there. The same thing happened to me yesterday.

Now that I think about it, I shouldn’t have ranked Stanford, Yale, Princeton, Columbia because those schools probably attracted the most applicants. Would it have been in my favor to choose a less reputable school, considering that the competition is less?

Oh well…

lehaly, you should have only ranked the schools you were absolutely sure that you wanted to attend. DD only ranked 3, and if she is not a match she goes on from there. Would you want to be matched with a school that you did not want to attend, and it is binding?

lo, true that. I mean even if we don’t get matched I am sure that there will be many of us who get in during regular decision…

so some of the schools like Yale said that they will automatically try to set us up with an interview, what about the other schools?

I think an interview might be an advantage only if you can make a good first impression lol ;)

yea…i am good at interviews but sucky at the same time…

S hasn’t been able to fax Yale non custodial FA documents, line busy for hours. Is it too late?

I couldn’t either. I just resolved to mail it.

I say mail it and explain the situation if they ask about it…mail it with like overnight mail or something…

laugh so much useful information here!

I have a question, is anyone here who ranked yale received some sort of confirmation from them regarding the financial stuff?

I heard that you’re supposed to receive a confirmation if they receive the financial aid. I’m worried cuz I never did.

can anyone answer my question? Thanks!!

I sent stuff to Yale yet i haven’'t got any confirmation yet…
