<p>The application for the Questbridge Scholarship is definitely time-consuming and rigorous. However, one should not neglect the essays, for they are an important component of the selection.</p>

<p>There isn't a specific income range specified by the Questbridge Website; so you should definitely apply, regardless of your family income. Sometimes, extenuating circumstances may suffice.</p>

<p>to answer someone from way back: no, just because you were contacted does not mean you are "low-income enough". I wondered this myself when I was emailed and checked the website when I applied. They take recommendations, but they also contact students with high testing scores, not necessarily ones in financial need.</p>

<p>So if you are named a Questbridge Finalist, even if you do not apply to any of those schools EA/ED, it is still a huge advantage, right? Kind of like making the Questleadership program? Or not as big?</p>
