<p>Please note that, in the US, if you contact a university and say you want to transfer, that means something other than what you want. What you want to say is that you’re interested in their post-graduate courses. In other words, you want to “go to grad school” at their university. </p>
<p>If you plan to get a masters degree in the US, there will be very little financial support available to you, as a foreign student. However, if you want a PhD, that’s an entirely different story. Some universities will give you decent funding, if you want a PhD. So when you contact universities, be sure to specify what sort of degree you’re looking for.</p>
