Hey guys, im new to the forums but have found alot of information here so far. My question is that im a student at TCC in Tallahassee and want to transfer into the warrington college of business to study finance, and i will be done with my AA this fall. I currently have a 3.77 GPA but after this semester it wil go up into a 3.81. The problem im facing is that while i'm meeting UF'S transfer gpa criteria of a 3.0 gpa, i messed up in my first semester of college in a very stupid move by my part and got two horrible grades in 2 of the pre professional courses one being a D in computers and the other a C in Macroeconomics. The past is done and while i did retake in a credit forgiveness the computer class and got an A in it, im reading in the uf website that one must have a 3.7 gpa average in the 7 pre-pro classes and that gpa includes ALL attempts. Can someone let me know if that means that the D i retook will be calculated into the pre-pro courses because if it is i will hgave an average of a 3.1 gpa and i wont even be able to apply because of a dumb mistake. If it isnt i will meet the criteria at a 3.7.

What do you guys think my chances of being accepted are? I know of a friend who got accepted into the same program with a 3.2 gpa overall, even though both his parents were alumni.

Will Uf take a look at my grades and see that even though i had a bad first semester i have gotten A's in ever single class since?

I also have a small t'shirt making business with a friend, will this look good in my resume and help my chances out?

GPA: 3.81
Pre pro: 3.1 or 3.7(depends)

Thanks for the help guys
