Question about ACT Scores

I've taken the ACT twice so far: the first time without the writing test, the second time with it. The time without the writing I got a 32 and the time with the writing I got a 30. I'm only a junior so I have some time to raise that 30. However, hypothetically supposing that I somehow never match or exceed my original 32 with the writing test, will Carnegie Mellon recognize my 32 if I send it in along with another score from a date when I did the writing part?

This is the exact same thing that happened to me. When I visited admissions, they said as long as one of them had the writing I was fine. So I decided to send it in anyway, and according to the application status website, they superscored my ACTs...

Awesome. Thanks.
