<p>What's the difference between regular admission and early Decision/early Action?</p>
<p>There's LOTS of posts about this and it wouldn't be hard to find out. But seeing how I don't want to open another window and post a link:
ED is binding early decision process where if you get accepted you must withdraw other applications and go to the ED school. Most schools have a higher acceptance rate for ED.
EA is non-binding, so you still have until May 1st to choose the school, but you find out decision by late December.
RD is the standard, apply by early January deadline (usually) and get decision in April.
Rolling Admissions you apply whenever and get answer a certain number of weeks later. Still can wait til May 1st to choose ultimate decision.</p>
