Hi guys! So I'm taking the Calc BC test this year, and I think it is very likely that I'll get >3, so I'll be able to skip out of Math 16a. However, I am going pre-health, so I need to take math 16a and b. But I also want to take physics 8a first semester, which requires math 16a as prerequisite. Can my AP Credit satisfy this prerequisite even if I take math 16a concurrently with physics 8a my first semester?

If you can skip out, don’t retake it (except for a GPA boost or something, idk). Prerequisites are not enforced at all.

You may want to consider taking Math 10A and 10B, which are designed specifically for biology majors, if your major is MCB, IB, or something that does not specifically require other math courses.

UC policy is that you lose your AP credit if you retake a duplicate college course.
