Question about AP credit

Homeschooled student

I'm planning on taking the AP Biology test in May and hoping to get 5 so I can get credit for it. Obviously, I will have to decide that I'm going to Duke before the month of May.

On the Duke credit website, it says ''Duke does not recognize AP exam results if the exam is taken after a student’s matriculation at Duke.''

So my question is, will I get credit if i take the AP test in May or is that considered ''after a student's matriculation at Duke'' ?

thanks

you matriculate in August, it means essentially that you are enrolled and have started classes. The AP tests in senior year are fine. They are simply discouraging college students from taking the AP exam to get more credit. I plan on taking AP Bio exam as well.

yes, you’re fine.

your fine.
