Question about AP Macroeconomics exam

<p>Hey all,</p>

<p>I'm planning on taking the AP macro-economics exam next year, but my school only offers the IB economics (HL/SL) course. I've heard that the SL course is more 'macro-oriented'.</p>

<p>How similar are the IB Econ SL and AP Macro-Econ courses? If I take the IB course will I be adequately prepared for the AP exam (perhaps well enough to score a 5)?</p>
