question about AP Scholar awards

When and how does the CB notify you about your award?

You receive a certificate in the mail around mid-August.

Ok, so you get the notification/recognition, and some certificate/award paper thing?

You should know which award you qualify for based on the list they have online (do a Google search for AP Scholar Awards). The score report you receive won’t list your award, but you’ll get your certificate in the mail eventually.

Can you receive an AP scholar award even if you’re a US citizen living abroad?

^ yes, I’m not a US citizen and I got it last year. I live in Asia.

Yes, but you receive an International Scholar award if you live abroad.

If I take 4 AP’s junior year, and then 6 AP’s senior year, do I get “AP Scholar with Honor” at the end of junior year, and then “National AP Scholar” at the end of senior year, assuming I get 4s and 5s on all the exams?

^Yes.

3.141592653

that is only for the top 2 international students worldwide.

^There’s that and another type of award for international students.

Are you sure? As I said earlier in this thread, I live in Asia. I only received the standard AP Scholar award last year.

[AP: Scholar Awards](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Qualifying for an AP Scholar Award – AP Students | College Board)

There’s AP International Scholar and AP International Diploma.

The APID is not what all internationals receive. Read the criteria.

One must choose subjects from a range of requirements to get the APID.

Right, but internationals are eligible for 2 types of awards: The Diploma and Scholar.

They don’t mean αпутηιпg though.
